When an owner publishes a Mission, Calder reserves its full Credit cost so participant rewards can always be paid.
The reservation appears in the owner's Wallet history as a Mission reserved entry with a warning style. It holds the Credits the Mission will distribute, so the money is available even before participants finish.
Reserved Credits are released as the Mission progresses. When the owner cancels a Mission, unused Credits are refunded as a Mission refund entry. The refund equals the required engagements that were not verified, multiplied by the per-participant cost.
You can filter Wallet history by the Reserved activity to see only reservations. Gems are never reserved or refunded through Mission campaigns, and every change appends a new ledger entry instead of rewriting history.
